What Is Your Plan For Time Management?

Well here we are with another year well and truly on the horizon, and if you are anything like me you will have so many things you are wanting to achieve in this 2023 year, so much that it absolutely scares me, hence my blog this morning. Although ticking boxes and fulfilling all your hopes and dreams is amazing, but it also doesn't have to all happen right now or does it? We all put so much pressure on ourselves to do everything, all the time, something comes up and it is the automatic reply sure I can do that, maybe if we take a breath stop and think and consider, we wont be stressing and mad at ourselves for saying yes!

Do you feel like this?

So here is my plan, I am going to manage my time! "wink" am going to try anyway.  So here goes....

Must Haves:

  1. A computer diary- preferably one that can be synced with you partners, so you can compare, they know they wont double book social engagement's or make promises you can't commit to. Or one you can do on canva or such like, they have some great planners.
  2. Make sure you allow down time- so important to breathe, read a book, exercise, have a "cook up" ( yes I love to cook ), date night with your partner or catch up with a friend for a coffee- friendships are like food for the soul! ( funny am sitting here writing and a notification has come though " Marley Haircut " (our little dog) got to love those computer diaries "
  3. Be consistent with what makes your household run smoothly.

The Plan:

Our week consists of working also around my husbands work week as he does night shift, so on my mind constantly is also planning around not making a noise so he gets a good sleep.

This also includes:

  • Meal prep
  • Website updates, new articles, new stock
  • Study- webinars- salon work
  • Socialising- family time
  • Housework

Found some great weekly planners on canva if you don't have a computer diary, you can possibly add to your fridge, or family notice board, so easy to do on the computer, by copy and pasting then adding what you have on, or write on it whatever is easier.

Your Time Matters:

Yes time is precious, every day is a gift, but you don't HAVE to do anything. You may have a day where you want to just "get off the grid" we all have those days, don't beat yourself up, do something lovely for you, read a book, get in the garden, just breathe. Tomorrow is another day.

Enjoy xx
